My Nasturtiums are blooming. Okay maybe I should say Lee’s Nasturtiums are blooming as I bought them for him. He was interested in them since all parts of the plant are edible. When I tried to get him to eat one of the flowers today though he got nervous and told me to look it up before he would.
You can eat them. Put them in a salad. Skip used to eat ours all the time. I think they taste like radish.
Yeah, we both tried one of the flowers the next day after Robin posted. It definitely has a peppery taste like a radish. Although … that might have been the little black bugs crawling on it too. (Don’t tell Robin.)
