The fields are brown with Queen Anne’s lace and dried grass. I guess winter is on its way.
Very pretty shot! I love Queen Anne’s Lace. They are especially pretty on a frosty morning. Yup, winter’s coming, but we’ve been very lucky with our weather. No snow yet, just a few nights of frost (very untypical), yesterday we even had 65F. It was just gorgeous outside. If only there was a way to squeeze a bit more daylight out of each day…
Wow, that was a pretty warm day at 65F. We have a snow shower prediction for tomorrow. Ugg! I like Queen Anne’s lace too but it’s a little annoying come fall. All the seeds tend to get caught up in our dogs and cats hair.
What a beautiful photo!
Beautiful photo. I will miss the warm and sunny but fall can be so lovely.
You right. I have been enjoying all the fall colors.
I was searching for a woodstove and come a cross your site.
I kind of identify with you on the religion issue. Now I live free, a decente life with my wife and two sons 12 & 13 years old. We actually have them in private school until this Friday but next week they will sart in a public school.
I admired you for your courage to brake free from that kind of enviroment and always look forward.
Good luck in this new year.
Thanks for the comment! It’s nice to hear from so many others who have found freedom. Our motto this past year has been: the best response is to live a good life and be happy.
It didn’t seem courageous at the time. It seemed inevitably terrifying. I was brought up to believe I had a ‘thinking religion’–the only one with consistent arguments and evidence. When I realized that the evidence was false and my whole sense of “rational” had been sabotaged from birth, there was really only one reaction regardless of consequences. Some would say it’s a personality flaw … too concerned with things being actually true.
